Adam Holguin is an Award Winning Filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA.
​
Born in El Sereno, Adam was raised in a close-knit Latino community, and often spent time in the San Gabriel Mountains, Angeles National Forest, and scenic Pasadena, where he spent most of his childhood.
​
In 2018, he attended and graduated from Lesley University with a BA in Creative Writing and a BFA in Filmmaking.
Later, in 2022, he attended Loyola Marymount University where he graduated with an MFA from the School of Film and Television, specializing in Writing and Directing.
​
Adam currently freelances as a screenwriter, director, and producer. He gravitates toward dramatic narrative stories that follow themes of moral ambiguity, social commentary, and change. Adam also works in the Los Angeles Theatre world, and is currently the Director of Literary Development at Bethesda Repertory Theatre.​
​
As an independent filmmaker, Adam finds it important to craft bold, challenging projects that emphasize the importance of artistic expression, and highlight shifting beliefs in culture and representation.
