Arturo Jurado, a survivor of childhood abuse and constant bullying for his sexuality, is now an investigative journalist in Civil Rights Justice.
After vowing never to come back, Arturo returns to his small, East LA hometown after learning that his underfunded local high school has partnered with a new, mysterious, LGBTQ Non-Profit charity. Upon arrival, Arturo discovers that the heads of the organization are none other than the same men who bullied him as a child, and is forced into an impossible decision that will affect the future of his home.

Claire, a dollmaker and small business owner, returns home one night to find her husband in bed with another woman. Following her divorce, Claire finds herself constantly reliving the night her marriage ended.
However, the more she ruminates about the affair, the more the memory changes, until she no longer remembers what truly happened that night. Desperate to find the truth, her truth, Claire is fixated on ending her grief.

On the eve of his daughter's wedding, Kirk vows to keep his illness hidden, all while preparing to perform his once promised final show. As his daughter's wedding draws near, Kirk's secrets begin to come to light.
